The Big Move (day two)

As Wednesday the 20th of August dawned just a little over a week ago, we were up and ready to clear out of Newport News for good!  We ate a quick breakfast at the hotel then headed over to the apartment to finish cleaning up before they did the inspection.  It's a good thing we looked things over carefully, because there was a whole load of laundry still left in the dryer!  :)  Raymond and I said a last goodbye to the apartment and mom and I sent dad and Raymond ahead since they had the truck to deal with.

It was a good first home for us, but we're glad to be moving on!

After mom and I dealt with the apartment people for the last time, we were on our way too!

A couple hours later, we all arrived in Alexandria and began packing the rest of our stuff.  Mom and dad have been gracious enough to let us house a lot of our stuff with them.

After packing up in Alexandria, it was finally on to Winchester!!!

Mary was there to meet us with food, drink and awesome workers to help us unload!

It was so good to finally be there!

Happy movers!

Finally home! :)

Thank you to everyone who helped us make this move!  Whether you were there lifting boxes and furniture, or whether you simply prayed us through, we couldn't have made it so smoothly without all of you!
